There is still a chance at seeing some showers and thunderstorms overnight through
early tomorrow morning as the main upper-level storm system moves east. The timing
for seeing a few showers or storms will be from midnight to 8 am Sunday morning.
The better chances will be north of the Red River and east of I-44. If storms
develop, a few could become severe with a large hail and high wind threat. However,
widespread severe weather is not expected.
Sunday will be very windy and warm across Texoma with highs in the upper 80s to low
90s. Southwest winds 20-30 mph with gusts over 45 are possible. Winds may gust up to 45-55 mph
in our western counties. Fire danger will be extremely high. Click here for the wind and
fire weather alerts and warnings.
