
Ariel Reed is a journalist with a passion for investigating deeper into the “why.” Ariel’s driven persona led her to Texoma. Hailing from Altoona, Pa., she is excited to be in Texas. She earned two degrees at Wilkes University: a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management. She also minored in Economics.
Prior to joining the team at KFDX/KJTL, Reed interned with WTAJ, her hometown station. Additionally, Ariel wore many hats at school, serving as the newspaper’s Managing Editor, Producer of the TV station, and Station Manager/Programming Music Director at the radio station. She also interned with her school’s marketing department and various football organizations.
Alongside her internships and other jobs, Ariel also served as the President of Sports Management Club, Treasurer of FBLA Collegiate, and played forward/center for the university’s basketball team.
