
Dylan Jimenez is a journalist with a passion for telling different stories and talking with people. He grew up in Sweetwater, Texas (West Texas is the best Texas). He received his Bachelor’s in Communications from Angelo State University in San Angelo, where worked at ASU’s student-led news station and started live news broadcast.
Dylan started his broadcasting career at KMID in Odessa telling stories of the oilfield and COVID-19 when the pandemic started.
Dylan came to KFDX in April 2021 as a digital producer. Since, Dylan has worn many hats including weekend sports anchoring/reporting and news reporting. He became a full-time MMJ/reporter in April 2023.
Outside of work, Dylan fell in love with the art scene in Wichita Falls and volunteers once a month at the Wichita Falls Art Association Gallery, where he also showcases some of his photography. He also likes to hang out with friends and family and scream at the TV when watching fútbol or the Dallas Cowboys.
