Lauren Linville

Lauren Linville grew up in Fort Worth, Texas but chose to travel up I-35 to attend the University of Oklahoma.

She’s thrilled to serve as a reporter/multimedia journalist in Texoma and reach communities in both places she considers home: Texas and Oklahoma. Multimedia journalist means she’s usually shooting her own video, so don’t be surprised if you see her around carrying camera gear.

Unsure of what degree she wanted to pursue, Lauren decided to enroll in journalism at OU where she quickly developed a passion for it.

She finds joy in telling stories of the very people who make up the community.

Lauren gained experience working as a producer, reporter, anchor, and director at her college’s student-run newscast, OU Nightly.

Her love for sooner football guided her decision to attend OU, and she was able to combine that with reporting by covering games for the college.

Soon after graduating in May 2019, Lauren moved to Wichita Falls to begin her journalism career at KFDX.

In her free time, you can find Lauren hanging out with friends and family, catching up on the latest TV shows, or exploring her new home of Wichita Falls.

She is eager to gain knowledge in her first job, and learn more about Texoma!
