Megan grew up as a military brat who was born in Bremerhaven, Germany, and moved to a couple of places in the U.S., Fort Hood, Texas, and Millington, Tennessee. After graduating high school, She, along with her family, moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in 2005. Megan has always enjoyed film and broadcasting.
In the fall of 2005, Megan began her college career at Vernon College and in the spring of 2007, enrolled at Midwestern State University and received an B.A. in Mass Communications in December of 2010.
Megan started her broadcasting career as a production assistant in October of 2011 for two years and became a morning producer for another two years at a local television station.
Megan took a hiatus for a few years before applying and accepting a weekend producer and an Assistant Producer role at KFDX in February of 2023. Megan is currently the 5 a.m. producer.
Megan enjoys walking with her dog, Swirl, reading, writing, playing games, hanging out with friends and family and movies. She is a member of a local writers’ group in Wichita Falls.
