On today’s Talking Texoma, Brian Rich of Acellerated Interventional Orthopedics tells us about treating pain in the body. Pain from compression fractures is common in women with osteoporosis. At one time, about 700,000 had been undiagnosed each year. But now that that they have started screening for them, they see well over two million undiagnosed each year.
Dr. Rich explains that finding compression factures involves basic imaging. They send their patients for that and then see them in the clinic with their imaging. The screenings can be done with a minimal amount of sedation. Generally, patients do not need anything more than Tylenol for pain when they go home.
Acellerated Interventional Orthopedics takes Medicare and all other insurances. So, get back to doing the things that you love and call them today.
