Boy Scouts To The Rescue!

(KSDK) A group of Boy Scouts helped a rescue a man who was trapped in the muddy banks of the Missouri River Saturday.

Numerous local Boy Scout troops were helping clean up the Missouri River in Florissant when they noticed that a man had literally sunk into the mud next to the waterway. The man, who was also cleaning up the river, had mud up to his thighs.

“He was trapped there by himself trying to dig out while we were watching,” said Troop 829 Committee Leader John Frank.
