The holidays may be over, but it is still ‘engagement season.’
The most common months to pop the big question in the United States are November and December, according to an article on Facebook statistics.
“I’d say the most popular is probably the few months leading up to Christmas,” Nicolette Davis with Nacol’s Jewelry said. “A lot of people like to get engaged Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and we see a lot more traffic come in… probably the four months leading to Christmas.”
The other most popular engagement day is Valentine’s Day.
The Wichita Falls MPEC was packed on Saturday with newly engaged brides to be for the 15th annual Bridal Market.
Local venues, bakers, photographers and more showed their goods for those planning their special day.
So, vendors and brides-to-be said it is a good time for those who are newly engaged to make big strides in planning, or those that have been engaged to figure out the finishing touches.
