Tadpole Children’s Academy temporarily closes amid COVID-19 concerns

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Tadpole Children’s Academy announced Friday on its Facebook page that it would be closing temporarily for the safety of their staff and attendees.

The daycare will be closed from March 23 through April 6, 2020. During that time the staff will be sanitizing the facility.

Health District temporarily pause sign-ups for COVID-19 vaccine waiting list

WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — Officials with the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District announced Monday they will be pausing sign-ups for the waiting list to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

In a press release, officials with the Health District said they are planning to update to an online, high-volume vaccine management and reporting system that will automate the vaccine process.

United Regional COVID-19 critical care capacity update — January 18, 2021

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Officials with United Regional Health Care System Monday reported 101 patients who have either tested positive for COVID-19 or suspected to have COVID-19.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator Patrick Johnston said the numbers are current as of Monday morning, January 18.
