20 Years Since the Mysterious Disappearance of Keith Mann

Local News

Twenty years to the day, the search continues for a 20-year-old who went missing from his apartment.

Keith Mann was last seen just before midnight on May 10th, 1997. Friends dropped him off at his Fountaingate apartment, watched him walk up the stairs and that’s the last time anyone saw him.

Debra and Gregg Mann have been tormented with their son’s disappearance every day for 20 years. The last time they spent time with their son was at his fiance’s graduation in Gainesville that was Friday May 9th, 1997.

Brad Love, the detective on the case, believes somebody knows something about Keith’s disappearance.

“There are things that we’re looking into, just things that were going on at the time in this young man’s life,” Detective Love said. “Things we’re following up on.”

Keith’s parents say they’ve gone through every emotion possible over 20 years of looking for their son, and their faith has sustained them all these years.

If you have any information about Mann’s disappearance, please call Crime Stoppers 24- hours a day at 322-9888. You can remain anonymous, and if your information leads to the arrest and board approval, you could earn in this case up to $2,500 from Crime Stoppers and an additional $7,000 from private donors.
