Travel back to the old west and celebrate cowboy culture all while raising money for a good cause in Iowa Park.
The annual Frontier Days at Oscar Park began at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a parade event.
The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday with music, gunfights and activities for the whole family.
There will be a Brush Arbor Gospel meeting on Sunday.
Chris De La Garza with Base Camp Lindsey said this event in itself, is unique.
“We want to really just celebrate the history and heritage of this area of Texoma,” De La Garza said. “It’s something different, It’s something you’re not gonna find anywhere else.”
It is free to attend, but $10 for a Chuck Wagon meal.
Donations will be accepted for the Base Camp Lindsey tiny homes project for veterans.
