Sam’s Southern Eatery brought the taste of seafood to Texoma but is closing its doors less than two years after it opened.
They first opened in October 2017 at Southwest Parkway and Fairway Boulevard a month after the former restaurant Marty’s Pioneer closed.
At the time, Sam’s manager said what set them apart from other seafood restaurants was everything was cooked to order.
The last new seafood restaurant, before Sam’s, was Reef Street on Call Field, and it closed in December 2016, less than 5 months after it opened.
Thursday will be the last day to pick up any fried shrimp or catfish from the restaurant.
