Students from two Wichita Falls high schools joined more than 3000 other students all over the country to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and math as a career today.
Students from Hirschi and Rider High Schools got to participate in special presentations led by AT&T community leaders for the Hacemos National High Technology Day.
Venus Shirazy, a freshman at Hirschi High, plans on double majoring in biochemistry and chemical engineering in college.
"I just learned today about all the different job opportunities AT&T offers and how they can help pay for your education. And that's a really big deal since going into higher education costs a lot of money than you might expect," Venus Shirazy, High School Student.
AT&T officials say they hope the event inspires students like Shirazy to take science and tech opportunities within the company.
They also say they hope more students will be interested in the event next year.
