Arlington man in October stand-off with police back in Wichita County jail

Local News

An Arlington man arrested last month following a stand-off at a Wichita Falls apartment complex is back in a Wichita County jail.

Kynedrick Jackson, 21, was arrested Tuesday following a traffic stop where an officer reportedly saw white smoke and smelled burnt marijuana from a vehicle Jackson was in.

There were two other people inside of the car as well, and while trying to get them in custody police said Jackson ran away and then was tazed.

Jackson is now charged with evading arrest and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon from Tarrant County District Attorney’s office.

Jackson’s last run in with the law in Wichita Falls happened on Oct. 4.

That’s when police arrested him and another woman following a three-hour standoff at the Edge Apartments off Taft Boulevard.
