A request for a lower bond from a man jailed on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child was granted today in 78th district court.
For more than a year, 49-year-old Nelson Head has been jailed on the charges and his bonds of $250,000 on each count were lowered to $50,000.

Yet, he is still listed on the jail roster.
Nelson is accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s 10-year-old son while he was homeschooling him.
The boy told authorities when he was home alone with him, Nelson would take him into a room and assault him.

Conditions were set in place if Nelson does post bond, he must not leave the county without permission, have no contact with the alleged victim or any other children, or come within 300 feet of any park or place where children gather.

He must also wear an ankle monitor and be under curfew at night.
