A suspected burglar was arrested after the victim and a relative tracked him down and the relative and suspect got in a fight.

Javier Estaban Castro, 19, is charged with burglary of a habitation, failure to identify as a fugitive of justice because police say he gave a false name and a previous bond for aggravated assault.

Police said they were called to the 1900 block of Hines Boulevard Thursday morning and the victim told them she had been asleep when she heard a noise and saw someone forcing open a door to the garage.

The victim said she made eye contact with the man and recognized him as an acquaintance.

The woman said Castro left with a black backpack and then discovered he had been in the house too because an Xbox had been taken.

The victim and a relative of Castro then went to a house they thought he might be at, found him and the relative and suspect began fighting before the suspect fled.

Other officers reported they found Castro while responding to an assault and he had recent injuries to his face and they also found the Xbox in a black backpack outside the house.
