FOSTER PARENTS NIGHT OUT_1557535221351.jpg.jpg

To celebrate Foster Care month, 2INgage and Heritage Assembly of God gave foster parents a night out Friday.

Children ages newborn to teens were able to enjoy food, snacks, crafts and games. Qualified child care providers and staff were also on hand to ensure everyone had a safe and fun time.

This is the first time the church has done something like this, and Music Pastor and Orphan Care Coordinator Derek Carter said the reaction from the foster care parents has been great to see.

“The parents who have come to drop off their kids, you could just see the excitement of being ready to have a few moments to themselves,” Carter said. “So, we are super excited to provide this for the families in our community.”

2INgage also said they need more foster parents. If you would like to help out, click here.
