Burkburnett Firefighters were called to a fire caused when a wheat combine hit a rock or piece of metal leading to the home catching fire.
The fire started around 1 p.m. Wednesday near Burk Road and Bailey Road near Sheppard Air Force Base.
The homeowner said the grass around the combine caught fire, and then the combine.
Burkburnett, Friberg Cooper and Wichita Falls Fire units all responded.
Firefighters said two residents and two firefighters were treated and checked for smoke inhalation at the scene.
Burkburnett Fire Chief Rodney Ryalls said the combine is a total loss, and there’s extensive damage to the home.
