The Petrolia and Charlie communities continue to reach out to help a family impacted by the tornado that touched down April 30.

The Coker family’s home was severely damaged April 30 and while they plan to rebuild, their home insurance expired a few months ago.

A fish fry benefit to help the family will be held Thursday, May 16 at Petrolia High School, where Wendy Coker teaches.

The fish fry will begin at 6 p.m. with plates for $10, and they will also have donation buckets set up.
