Since the debut in May, the Graham Farmers Market has been a hot spot every Saturday.

According to the Graham Leader, the Graham Conventions and Visitors Bureau met monthly beginning in November 2017 to create the Graham  Farmers Market Association according to Vice President Tommy Morath.

“I would say our first weekend we were open we had anywhere from 400 to 500 people attend, you know, community members coming by and participating, and so it’s been a great turnout,” CVB manager Jenea Knight said. “The committee has been very supportive, which we love, and so because of that we feel that it will be continued success of the market.”

After the committee got permission from the city to sell a plot of land last year, the Famers Market found its home nestled in the corner of 4th and West streets.

The Market is opened every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon until Aug. 25.
