Daughter of late Wichita County chief investigator dies months after father

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) - The daughter of a late Wichita County Chief Investigator died Sunday morning about two months after her father died.

Brea Moore, 28, died of brain cancer Sunday morning while her father John Little died of pancreatic cancer on Nov. 30.

Moore was a special education teacher at Holliday and was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumor called a Glioblastoma. She had already undergone brain surgery and multiple rounds of chemo, when her father was also diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The community has rallied around the Little and Moore family and several Texomans have helped set up fundraisers for the family throughout the battle of both Moore and Little.

Moore's friends put on a fundraiser called Burgers for Brea to help pay for her medical costs, and the owners of Board and Brush put on a fundraiser to help funeral costs for Little and medical bills for Moore.

* Correction: The previous headline did not reflect the correct time frame of passing between Detective John Little and his daughter Brea Moore. It has been nine weeks between the passing of Little and Moore.
