A former Iowa Park substitute teacher who received probation for having an improper relationship with a student is jailed for possible revocation of that sentence. 36 year old Wendy Fox was booked into jail Sunday night.
In 2012 she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 8 years probation. She admitted to having sex with a male student after school hours and said they had been meeting at Gordon Lake from January to May in 2011.
Police became aware of the relationship after Fox’s husband called them and reported she had sex at least once with the student in their home. Fox also told police they also had sex at least once in the student’s home.
According to the prosecutor’s court filing, Fox violated her probation terms in several areas, including not showing proof of community service work, failing to complete a sexual offender assessment and failure to follow the recommendations of the licensed sex offender counselor.
