Texomans can experience the sights and sounds of what it was like on an early frontier Army post at a historical program at Fort Sill this weekend
On Saturday, a model 1841 cannon will be fired by the Fort Sill Gun Detachment
The 6 pounder field gun will be fired at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon at the Field Artillery Museum.
If you would like to attend, remember the post now requires passes for all visitors, so if you don’t already have one, you will need to stop and get one at the Visitor Control Center.
