Frederick High School robotics team places 79th out of 160 in international competition

We now know how the robotics team from Frederick High School did at the world championship in Houston.

Robotics teacher Tom Hensley said out of 160 teams, Frederick team 8866 placed 79th. Hensley said that’s a major accomplishment for his students, considering this is their first time competing on an international level.

Hensley also said after seeing Texomashomepage’s story, a robotics team from Iowa Park is asking the Frederick team to mentor them.
