The Wichita Falls Police Department is alarmed at the number of guns stolen in vehicle burglaries in just the past three days.
Officer Brian Bohn says seven guns have been stolen in 24- different vehicle burglaries since the weekend began.
Bohn said all burglaries have happened on the Southwest part of Wichita Falls and unlocked vehicles are being targeted.
The WFPD is urging everyone to remove their belongings from their vehicles and lock the doors.
Crime Stoppers has issued a fresh 48, which means those with tips that lead to an arrest within 48 hours of 5 p.m. Tuesday will be eligible for an immediate $1,000 reward on top of any other reward.
