A man wanted in Wyoming for a felony parole warrant will face other felony charges after allegedly leading authorities on a manhunt Thursday night.
Hardeman Co. Sheriff Pat Laughery said the chase began in Quanah around 7:55 p.m.
He said the suspect eventually drove onto the railroad tracks but the vehicle the suspect was driving became stuck.
The suspect apparently fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Multiple agencies helped deputies establish a perimeter including Texas Highway Patrol, Texas Game Wardens, and Childress Co.
According to Laughery, blood hounds located the suspect at approximately 12:30 a.m. Friday morning following a 4-hour manhunt.
The suspect was then placed into custody without incident and transported to the Hardeman County Jail, he said.
Laughery said narcotics were found inside the vehicle.
