Gov. Abbott hosts press conference Tuesday with DFW officials on protest violence

DALLAS (KFDX/KJTL) — Gov. Greg Abbott, R–Texas, will host a press conference Tuesday in Dallas and participate in a briefing about the state’s response to continued protest violence.

The conference will be at Dallas City Hall at 1 p.m. and the following individuals will join the governor:

  • Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson
  • Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price
  • DPS Director Col. Steve McCraw
  • Texas National Guard Gen. Tracy Norris
  • Dallas Police Chief Reneé Hall
  • Fort Worth Police Chief Ed Kraus
