Grand Jury Refuses to Indict Two Men for Burglary

Local News

A Wichita County grand jury decides not to indict two Wichita Falls men on burglary charges. Officers arrested 20- year-old Austin Kimbro and 31-year-old Benjamin Flowers after police say they stole a tool box and muffler from a home last year.

Police say the two broke into a home in City View around December 17th. The grand jury declined to indict both men on this burglary charge.

However,  Austin Kimbro was sentenced to 7-years  in January after his probation was revoked for tampering with physical evidence. He was also sentenced to 3-years for burglary and theft.

A week after he was sentenced, Kimbro was charged on a new theft charge for allegedly stealing a delivery package from someone’s porch on Nunn Street.

His lengthy criminal history includes arrests for riding a stolen motorcycle that still had wet paint on it, driving off with a stolen riding lawnmower, hiding in a shed to evade arrest and stealing doors from his apartment complex.
