Gun Dealers Arrested in Tulsa

Two long-time Texoma gun dealers and vendors were arrested over the weekend following an arms show in Tulsa.

68-year-old Richard Futch of Seymour was jailed on a charge of grand Larceny.

According to Tulsa police, he was caught on surveillance video stealing a Colt Derringer that carries a value of $1,200. While investigating, officers ran serial numbers on all of his firearms on his table.

78-year-old George Adams of Wichita Falls was also arrested for concealing stolen property.  Authorities say he had  in his possession a Savage model 99, reported stolen out of San  Antonio.

A third man, Kenneth Lee Reynolds, 74, of Ottumwa, Iowa was also arrested a day later.  Tulsa Police Officer Leland Ashley tells the Tulsa World he is accused of stealing a Parker 28-gauge double-barrel shotgun worth about $14,000 and a custom-grade Dakota hunting rifle with gold inlay worth $21,900.
