Holliday man turns himself in, in connection to a hit and run accident

A Holliday man is now charged in connection to a hit and run accident that sent one to the hospital in March.

Nevlin Dee Hendricks, 35, is charged with failure to give information and render aid.

On March 27, about 11:45 at night, police say Hendricks crashed into a pickup in the 4200 block of Kemp.

The other vehicle hit a tree then spun around and hit electrical equipment and an ATM.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Police said video shows Hendricks left the scene without stopping.

Hendricks criminal conviction record includes racing on a highway, driving with an invalid license, interfering with an emergency request fo raid, and assault.
