After months of renovations at the old Texas Club on 7th Street, the owners of Hook and Ladder Coffees and Wine Company are preparing to start serving Friday.
The 4B board signed off on funds in March the owners said have helped in restoring the building that has stood in downtown Wichita Falls since 1884 and is one of the oldest brick structures in the area.
“It is amazing to be in here, with knowing how many different businesses were in here and the history behind this building it is just a really cool feeling,” Bill Weske, co-owner said. “I don’t think I have ever experienced it before, but owning a building like this is just pretty neat.”
Hook and Ladder will offer 10 coffee roasts, more than 20 wine selections and artisan flatbread pizzas.
The doors open on Friday at 11 a.m.
