The inaugural KFDX/Texoma’s Fox spring fling weekend at the MPEC is underway.

Spring Fling event is filled with shopping, art, kids activities, music and many local food trucks all on site. KFDX Account Representative Meredith Crowe said a lot of work has gone into organizing this event.

“We have been planning this event for months now and we just knew we wanted it to be something different than all of the KFDX events we’ve done before,” Meredith said. “Bigger and better so it’s really fun and exciting.”

Willetta Crowe is just one of the artists at the event. She’s showing off some of her photography that she took in the Texoma area.

“I live in Nocona, so I’m driving back and forth to Wichita Falls at least once a week and so I watch the road but I’m always watching the roadsides because you never know what’s going to be there and it won’t be there the next day,” Crowe said.

Serna’s Hot Salsa Vice President Cherilyn Pollard brought her award-winning salsa to spring fling to share with Texomans.

“We’ve got a line of six different salsas,” Pollard said. “We’ve got a verde one, and a red one, hot, medium and mild. They’re all natural, fresh ingredients. We’ve got a great fresh taste.”

With one day left of this event, Pollard and Willeta Crowe said they hope to have continued success on Saturday.
