WICHITA FALLS - A Wichita Falls woman who used her car as a weapon against two teens riding bikes gets some jail time added to the five years of probation accepted in a plea offer.
Shannon Sullivan, 38, agreed to take a five-year deferred supervised sentence and a $500 fine on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, but the judge had the option of adding jail time.
78th District Judge Barney Fudge added 180 days in jail, which Sullivan will be allowed to serve on weekends. Sullivan is also required to attend an anger management class.
The two 15-year-old victims told police they were riding their bikes on Barnett Road when Sullivan drove by and started yelling at them. The victims said Sullivan then pulled over and got into a fight with one of them, then got back in her car. They said she drove over the curb and drove so close to one that the teen was trapped against a wall.
The other bike rider tried to get Sullivan to let the other teen out and said she sped off, running over the teen's foot.
