Disney princesses and superheroes filled the Kemp Center for the Arts Saturday.
The Junior League of Wichita Falls held a Magical Characters Brunch with the help of the folks at the Wichita Theatre.
Many of the children were dressed up in costume while different characters came around to talk to them and take pictures.
This brunch was a fundraiser for the Junior League, but it also helps an organization helping those with childhood illnesses.
“Everything that we do as the Junior League we give back to the community, but the one event we do for ourselves is this headquarters fundraiser event,” Junior League of Wichita Falls members Lauren Wutheich and Crystal Short said. “We do have to maintain our building and pay our bills our insurance and our staff. However, a portion of our sales today we are going to give back to the A.S.H. Project.”
Both of the magical characters brunches Saturday sold out and members of the community sponsored some of the kids to allow them to attend.
