A Wichita Falls man is charged in an alleged armed carjacking on Horseshoe Lake Road in March.

Teddy Alan Caskey, 34, was jailed on $50,000 bond for aggravated robbery, a drug charge and parole violation.

Deputies said the victim was found at Horseshoe Lake Road and Horseshoe Bend Estates Road around 2:45 a.m.

He told them a friend called him asking for a ride from a motel, and he picked her up there and they went into a room where he was introduced to Caskey and a woman.

He said they then left in his car and went to a store, then his friend took over driving and they went to Horseshoe Bend Estates.

He said they came to a dead end where he said Caskey told him to get the “expletive” out of the car.

When he said no, he said Caskey pulled a handgun and put it to the victim’s head, so he got out and the three others drove off.

Other deputies responded to the motel, where they said they found the other three people.

They asked Caskey if he had a gun and said he retrieved a handgun that turned out to be a BB gun which deputies said looked exactly like a Glock 9-millimeter handgun.

Deputies said the victim’s friend told them she was trying to teach the victim a lesson.
