Man charged with burglary at Dollar General

Local News

A  man is arrested and charges may be pending against his wife for burglary in what police believe could be an inside job. Daxton Henry, 45, is charged with burglary of the Family Dollar store on Brook last July. He has posted bail of $5,000.

Employees of the store told police the door was found unlocked and the alarm turned off.  They viewed surveillance video and said a man with grey hair can be seen coming out behind boxes after the store had been closed and he turns off the alarm.

He is then seen going to the front door now wearing a white face mask and unlocks it.
A second person then enters, also wearing a white face mask and carrying a bag.

That person then goes to the safe and enters the code

While the male suspect puts cigarettes in the bag, employees say they recognized the woman as a former employee who had introduced them to her husband, Henry.

They say they recognized her by her distinctive walk and also said she was the only person besides the manager who had the code to the alarm.
Police say around $5,200 cash and cigarettes was taken.
