A Wichita Falls man is jailed in Clay County and could now face prison time for his previous plea to sexual assault of a child.
Keagan James Johnson, 21, was booked into the Clay County jail after prosecutors filed a motion to adjudicate his previous probation.
Johnson was charged with sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in July 2015 in a home near Lake Arrowhead.
The girl said Johnson assaulted her when he thought she was asleep.
Authorities said Johnson was arrested in January 2017 after the girl came forward and after he confessed to the assault.
Johnson was given a six-year deferred sentence of probation in 2018 on a lesser charge of indecency with a child and now faces having the deferred sentence changed to sexual assault.
