A Wichita Falls man is sentenced after postal inspectors and police say he shipped marijuana or marijuana products through the mail.
Benjamin Mobley, 36, was sentenced to eight years in prison by 89th District Judge Charles Barnard.
Mobley was arrested in January 2017 after postal inspectors got a search warrant to open two packages, which later were found to contain more than five pounds of marijuana.
Wichita Falls Organized Crime Unit Officers had the packages delivered to the address on 35th street and set up surveillance.
Authorities said Mobley arrived and picked up the packages and they followed him toward his home and stopped him.
Officers also got a search warrant for a home in the 4100 block of Thomas Avenue and said they found more marijuana and also 100 grams of hash oil.
