A man wanted for a shooting in Wichita Falls back in December and a murder in Lawton in January has been booked into Wichita County jail after being arrested in Houston a week ago.
Reginald Talbert, 38, is currently charged with first-degree murder, fugitive from Justice and failure to appear on a drug charge in Comanche County and aggravated assault in Wichita County.
The murder charge stems from the shooting death of Tyron Johnson, 33, in Lawton on Jan. 19.
Another suspect in that shooting, Torry Chenault-Scott turned himself in after the shooting.
Wichita Falls Police officers said Talbert was also involved in a shooting at the Wichita Ridge Apartments last December in which a 29-year-old woman was shot twice in the chest during an argument.
Witnesses said they only knew the suspect by his nickname of “Batman” which officers in the Criminal Intelligence Unit recognized as Talbert’s nickname.
