A man who grabbed an officer’s taser and pointed it at her face during his arrest pleads guilty and gets two, two-year sentences.
Trey Rashard Moore had several felony and misdemeanor charges including taking an officer’s weapon, resisting arrest, evading arrest, criminal trespass, fugitive from justice for armed robbery and failure to identify.
Police say last March, an officer pulled Moore over because he was riding a bike without lights before Moore gave a false name and took off running.
Officers tased Moore, but say he kept fighting and took an officer’s taser and pointed it at her face.
The officer used an open hand and knee strike and got the weapon back.
Officer’s say Moore took off running again, though, and went inside a home on Warford Street.
Police say they found him inside and also found numerous social security and identity cards on him.
