Details on the recent arrest of a man who pleaded and served time for a child purchasing charge from 2007 are very limited, even though the indictment that led to his arrest is now unsealed.

46-year-old Jason Carlile remains in the Wichita County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Carlile was arrested about 2-and-a-half years after the indictment was issued in Aug. of 2015.

The indictment alleges Carlile committed aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than 14 years of age, on or about Jan. 1, 2006.

Jail booking lists show Jason Carlile was booked into the Harris County Jail in Houston on Dec. 17. He was booked into the Wichita County Jail on Tuesday.

Whether the victim under 14 years old is the same victim Carlile pleaded guilty to buying in 2006 or if it’s another victim s is unknown, he served three years for that charge from Archer County and for a separate Wichita County indecency with a child charge

According to social media postings, Carlile operated various antique businesses in Wichita Falls before his arrest for the child purchase.
