A man who has been in and out of jail after charges and then new charges of sexual assault of a child is back in jail again, with seven sealed indictments.
On one of his previous arrests last year, Jason Carlile, 48, was bailed out of jail when his parents won a $15-million lotto.
His bonds have not yet been set on the new indictments, five for sexual assault of a child and two for aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was booked into jail just after 3 p.m. Thursday.
Carlile is previously charged with raping a child in 2000 and forcing the child to perform sex acts and raping a four-year-old child in 2006.
He has a previous conviction in 2007 in Archer County for buying a 15-year-old girl for $3,000 from her mother and taking her to Mexico.
Carlile was arrested in late 2017 on a sealed indictment alleging sexual assault of a child on or about January 1, 2006.
He was in jail in November awaiting trial but got out when his mother posted his $100,000 bond after winning the lotto. She also hired one of the top criminal defense attorneys in Texas.
Carlile was then booked back into jail on new indictments of aggravated assault of a child and bonded out again while awaiting his trial to be set.
Now he is back in jail and we will keep you posted if he bonds out again.
