A Lewisville man is behind bars in Clay County after officials said a traffic stop resulted in a search that found methamphetamine.
On May 23, a Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over Adam Lee Mayfield, 40, after deputies said he left a home suspected of illegal drug activity.
During the traffic stop, the deputy said his K-9 made a positive alert and then a subsequent search of the vehicle yielded 30.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Mayfield was charged with delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group one over four grams, under 200 grams.
Mayfield’s bond is set at $250,000.
