Spectra, the company handling management of the Multi-Purpose Event Center, will soon have a new leader at the helm in Wichita Falls
Brian Hoffman announced Wednesday that will be leaving his position as general manager within the next month. Hoffman said he will be relocating to another city to serve as gm for another Spectra venue. Hoffman took over as general manger in 2017.
In the spring of 2016, the city of Wichita Falls began looking for a management firm to take over the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall, J.S. Bridwell AG center, Kay Yeager Coliseum and Memorial Auditorium. At that time, city leaders believed a management group would help boost marketing efforts, after years of lack luster ticket sales and slumping revenue at its entertainment venues.
Spectra received the management contract in September 2016.
