Mustangs Roundup kicked off for fall semester allows freshmen to feel at home on campus

Local News

Many freshmen are making their way to college campuses for the first time.

MSU kicked off its Mustang Roundup Sunday after freshmen arrived during Move-In Day Saturday.

It’s a week of events to help freshmen adjust to college life meet some other freshman and learn about some of the activities going on around campus.

Freshmen like Lorenzo Boyd are glad the Roundup is happening because he said he’s a little nervous about starting college.

“I don’t know how hard the classes are gonna be yet,” Boyd said. “I took college and AP courses, but I don’t know how they’re going to compare. Even though I’m a bit shy, it’s pretty cool.”
