Oklahoma DOC needs public help to find fugitive

Local News

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is asking the public’s help in locating a fugitive with convictions in Comanche County.

Prison officials said the location of Edford Nolan Jr., 37, has not been known since Feb. 6 when he let the battery die on his GPS ankle monitor. He was serving a 10 year sentence for drug and firearm possession convictions in Comanche County in 2009.

He is described as 6-feet-1 about 262 pounds.

Nolan has multiple tattoos on his arms of a dagger, cross, snake, skull, and the number “916” among others.

Officials said he is a known drug dealer and believed to be violent and should be considered armed and dangerous.
