One charged after morning aggravated robbery at Shop ‘n Go

Local News

One man was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery Saturday at the Shop ‘n Go on 32nd Street.

Wichita Falls Police Sergeant Harold McClure says Ebubeckukwo Prince Ojia, 21, was taken into custody in the 4200 block of Meadowbrook Drive after the police department responded to the scene at the Shop ‘n Go around 7:30 am.

Police said Ojia allegedly displayed a weapon throughout the robbery.

Authorities said the WFPD Crime Against Persons Unit responded to the address where Ojia was detained and conducted an evidentiary search warrant.

Police say witnesses got a partial tag number of a vehicle near the store.

Officers found two possible addresses for that tag, and said after checking the first address they went to the one on Meadowbrook and said the suspect was just leaving the scene when they arrived and arrested him.
