A man arrested last year for stealing doors from his apartment complex is arrested again after police say he was driving a stolen motorcycle with new paint.

Police say they were checking a suspicious person on Grant Street when a speeding motorcycle came at them on the wrong side of the road.

Officers waved for the driver to pull over and stop, and say it slid to a stop.

Police say it was obvious the motorcycle had recently been spray painted red.

They also say one of the driver’s hands had red paint on it, and he told police he got the bike from a friend, but couldn’t give a name.

Austin Blaine Kimbro was charged with theft over $2,500.

Las April, Kimbro was convicted for burglary of a building when police say a maintenance worker at Indian Falls Apartments found doors missing from other apartments inside of Kimbro’s apartment.

They say Kimbro told police he took them to replace broken doors in his apartment and planned to pay for them.
