After battling cancer for more than nine months, Lisa Kidwell-Bradford was recently diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer which has spread to her liver and bones.

This after undergoing a double mastectomy in June 2018.

To help with medical expenses, family members are hosting a benefit at Texas Nite Life on April 14.
The poker run benefit will kick off about 1 p.m. and end about 4 p.m. and go through Sticks, Lonesome Dove, Silver Dollar, and end back at Texas Nite Life.

Tickets for the event are $15 per rider and $20 for a double. As well, there will be T-shirts sold at the event for $20 and brisket dinner plates for $8 each.

The next event which is called “Cinco de Lisa” will be on May 5 at the Iowa Park High School cafeteria from 1—4 p.m.

Taco dinner plates will be sold at the event for $7 each, and the benefit will include live music, silent auction, bake sale and giveaways.

Bradford’s husband, Patrick Bradford who works with the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office was promoted to Corporal in 2017 after recovering a firearm that had been missing for more than 25 years.
