Police Seeking Suspect Who Stole Christmas Gifts from Fire Department Gift Program

From the Wichita Falls Police Department:

On Wednesday, November 9th officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of North Burnett at the MPEC Ag. Building in reference to a possible theft.

Upon arrival they spoke with the reporting party who stated that an unknown suspect made forced entry into a cargo trailer that was parked there and stole approximately $5,000 in children’s toys to include over 50 bicycles.

The reporting party stated that the toys were being stored to be given away as gifts for Christmas by the Wichita Falls Fire Department.

If anyone has any information regarding this crime they are encouraged to contact the WFPD at 720-5000. If they want to remain anonymous they can call Crime Stoppers at 322-9888. Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers, Inc. is also listing this offense as a part of their “Fresh 48” program, which means the caller can earn an additional $500 if an arrest is made within the first 48 hours after the crime.
